Help with a specific task
A carer preparing for a visit may need to read several records. AI can help find relevant details, bring them into a brief or organise rough notes into a draft. That can save time, especially when the information is already in the care record but takes work to gather.
In CarerBook, AI Carer helps answer questions about care information. Pre-visit briefs collect details to review before a visit. Voice-assisted drafts turn a recording into suggested visit entries.
Check every suggested entry
AI can miss a detail or get one wrong. Suggested visit entries therefore go to a staff member for review. They can correct the wording, remove anything inaccurate and approve what belongs in the final record.
A brief or answer should also lead back to the information it came from. Staff need the source record and their own judgement when deciding what to do.
Make the review step visible
The app should make generated content easy to recognise and show what staff can do with it. A review step belongs in the ordinary visit workflow, where the person responsible for the record can see it.
AI availability and usage can vary by workspace and client. The care team decides what enters the final record.
